As a marketer I am acutely aware of information overload in today's time and as such, everytime I am building out a content strategy, I make sure to accomodate for content fatigue and put in bits of content break in the form of humor or pattern break. It helps to keep things fresh.

Taste-breakers can be game changers as even though entertaining content can be relaxing, our brain still uses processing power to comprehend, consume and piece together the content, and taste-breakers are a welcome change in groundhog day living.
